UPRISE Festival Pitch Battle coming to Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork

UPRISE Festival Europe in association with Bank of Ireland is searching for Irish based competitors for its ‘Pitch Battle’ to be held during the UPRISE tech festival on October 20th in the RDS. The UPRISE Festival Pitch Battle will put the power in the hands of the audience as they vote for the startup best able to pitch its business. Now in its fourth edition, UPRISE is one of Europe’s foremost festivals for startups, enterprise and investors.

Before the Pitch finals at UPRISE Festival, a set of regional heats will take place supported by Bank of Ireland, to assemble team Ireland. Irish based startups will be selected to take on challengers from around the world during the week of September 19-22nd in four regional finals being held in Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork to find one startup competitor from each city to go through to the grand final in October.

Six Irish startups (1 per city event with 2 wildcards) are pitted against six startups from Europe and the United States to win the title of Conqueror of the UPRISE Pitch Battle 2016. The winning company will receive a stand at this year’s event with the potential to showcase their business to attendees.

Successful entries for the regional finals will be notified by September 13th.

Europe’s foremost festival for Startups, Enterprise, Investors and the general public arrives to Dublin October 20th 2016. Born and raised in Holland UPRISE brings Europe to Dublin’s door for its fourth festival. In over one year the festival gathered 15,000 attendees, 277 startups and 82 workshops and panels during the event.
