Enterprise Start Introduction is a two-part workshop designed to help people who are considering starting their own businesses understand and evaluate the entrepreneurship process and what it involves.
The workshops take place over two consecutive evenings and are aimed at individuals with business ideas that have the potential to be scaled up significantly within three years and be export driven.
In the first session, participants will be taken through the business development process. Specific focus will be on the market for the product/service, defining the value proposition, undertaking market research, working up a clear market focus and other market development issues. This will be followed by a case study from a local entrepreneur, who will talk about starting a technology business from their experience.
