At present we have 7 investor syndicates actively looking for new investment opportunities; in addition via our colleagues in the Irish BIC's and Halo NI, we have access to a large pool of private investors.
HBAN can introduce entrepreneurs with relevant opportunities to these investor syndicates who not only have the capital capacity to invest up to €250,000+ per investment but have extensive business acumen and industry experience which can help accelerate the growth of your start up.
HBAN has recently launched a new guide for entrepreneurs – Raising Business Angel Investment Insights for Entrepreneurs.
In order to raise funding ideally, your company should meet the following criteria:
• A product that is ready for commercialisation.
• Pre-revenue is considered however some early market traction is preferred.
• A management team with relevant experience.
• An identifiable market opportunity.
• An internationally scalable business model.
Companies wishing to engage with the HBAN syndicates and network must submit an application for funding here.
Please feel free to contact the HBAN team to discuss prior to submission of an application and will work with you to get you in front of our investor base.
If there is sufficient interest you will be invited to pitch at one of our investor syndicate meetings. Prior to your pitch you will undergo one-on-one coaching with the HBAN team, where HBAN resources permit, to tailor your pitch to the relevant investor group.
Please note; raising private finance takes time with a lot of discussion and negotiation required before an actual cash investment takes place. It also involves a legal process including due diligence undertaken by the investor and the signing of shareholders agreements. You need to be prepared to put the time and resources required into the process before you start.
To engage with the HBAN syndicates and network please review our sample application and guidelines and submit your application for funding here.
